A new discount card has launched in Chamonix, giving you the chance to save cash on lift passes, equipment hire, lessons, eating, drinking and other après activities.
The Privilege Alps card costs 10 euros and gives you a range of discounts including:
12 euros on a 6 day Mont Blanc Unlimited Ski Pass
14 euros on 6 day Ski School with ESF
You can also save cash at lots of popular bars, restaurants and shops including the South Bar, Le Garage, Midnight Exoress, Serac, Praz Sports, Zero G and the local bowling alley..
A percentage of sales of the cards also goes towards the charity La Caisse de Secours which supports mountain guides and their families in times of need.
You can buy cards all over town including from transfer operators, participating shops and bars and from the Privilege Alps office in Cham Sud.
You can also buy yours online in advance so that you’re ready to save the minute you arrive in town. You need to buy your card at least two weeks before you leave for Chamonix to ensure it gets to you in time. You can also order it and collect it from the Privilege Alps office too.
You need one discount card per person to make the most of the deals and one card runs from December 1 to May 15 while another Summer edition is on operation from June 1 to September 30.
