Buyer Beware

Buyer beware when purchasing tickets for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Reportedly several independent online ticket agents were selling tickets for the opening and closing ceremonies this week. Problem is the tickets have not even been printed yet and Olympic officials have said that tickets are not alloted yet either. The Games committee has stated that any sales may not be authorized yet and ultimately not honoured. With prices of seats ranging from over $1600 for the opening games and as low at $600 for the closing ceremonies it would be worth making sure the retailer is an authorized dealer.
