It's springtime and the season seems to be winding down...at least for some of us! In other parts of the country/world there is enough snowbase that it seems like they can stay open indefinitely. Last week I was in California and Northstar, Heavenly and Mammoth certainly don't seem to be anywhere near closing. However here on the east coast warm temps and rain have signaled the beginning of the end. I expect most New England resorts to be closing in the next couple of weeks.

So how about you?

Whistler is open until The end of June and then Glacier riding until the end of July (not sure I'll bother with the Glacier though)

I'm not going to answer this just yet as I'm holding out that maybe we can get away even for a 4 day weekend out west before the end of May.....however that maybe just a fantasy! We still have quite abit of snow here and it's snows alittle everyday still!

I'm just back from my last trip (not that I did much riding mind you). I'm loving the 'Sohe' name for our southern friends. Sounds achingly cool...

Going next week for what's meant to be my last trip this season... however, have a long weekend at the end of April and was thinking that if it continues snowing like this in the Alps I might be able to go snowboarding... any ideas, advices? when are the resorts closing in Europe?
