Jesse and "the Jacket" on The Bachelorette

So I forgot to update update last week when Jesse made the final 2 on The Bachelorette...and the finale just ended. I finally broke down and watched an episode rather than just reading the recaps online.

I'm totally shocked - our boy "pro snowboarder" Jesse Csincsak WON!!! Who could have imagined that she'd pick the guy who thought this jacket was a good idea?  Now they're engaged. Crazy! After she accepted, DeAnna said "I cannot believe I'm going to marry the guy with the pink shoelaces."

Now I'm watching The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose. They're saying the happy couple has a surprise announcement! Ok..so it's a slow night for tv for me. The Yankees are off tonight.

What's the big announcement? They set a wedding date - May 2009. That was totally not worth watching an extra hour for.
