Have you got what it takes to be part of one of the leading athlete teams in the British snowboarding industry?

Vans UK are on the look out for a talented female snowboarder to be a part of their UK snow team. You will join the likes of Laura Berry, Mark Ruparelia, Will Hughes, Scott McMorris, Tim Warwood and Adam Gendle and help to represent the female side of snowboarding.

The winner will be awarded a year's sponsorship contract with Vans UK, will be supplied with Vans outwear and snowboots and given the opportunity to attend Vans team trips, events and be given PR support throughout the year.

The chosen athlete will also be featured on powderroom.net and get the chance to keep readers updated on their Vans activities through blog posts.

Criteria:

Vans UK are looking for a female rider who is under 25. You must be aged 24 or under on the closing date of February 29 2008 and hold a British passport.

You must currently have no apparel or boot sponsor and be available for team trips throughout the year.

How to enter:

Pull together a portfolio of images and video footage accompanied by a short profile on your riding history, interests and most importantly why you think you would make a good Vans snow team athlete.

Include your name, date of birth, current address and contact details too and send it to:

Entries will then be judged by a team of industry professionals shortly after the contest closes on February 29 2008.

NB: This opportunity will only be offered to a suitable athlete who can demonstrate the talent and skill required of a high-profile team rider. The contract will not be awarded if no rider of such calibre is found.
