A new snowboard competition has been launched which gives you the whole season to shoot, the entire summer to edit and offers a major cash prize.

Mountain Stories has been created for snowboard filmmakers to enable them to get the best shots and make the best cut of their story of the 07/08 season.

With 35,000 DVDs distributed free from TSA stores UK wide and then as a cover mount on a UK magazine, Mountain Stories will enable filmmakers to express their talent to the entire British Snowboard community.

Without the usual time constraints, weather conditions, compromises on the edit and rider performance, filmmakers are now given every opportunity to produce their best work and a platform to show it.

The only constraints are that the finished films should be between five and ten minutes long and be original work with cleared music.

All submitted films will be posted online and the top six to eight will make it on to the final DVD. The overall winner will be announced at the premier/prize giving at the start of 08/09 season.

This event is free to enter to all filmmakers and snowboarders. To take part you will need to register your intent where upon you will be forwarded a complete list of rules, regulations, delivery formats and critical dates.
