Vans is opening its first partnership store in the UK in Kingston Upon Thames.

The shop is being launched in conjunction with independent streetwear retailer Natterjacks, which has three stores in the town.

The store in Fife Street in the town’s shopping district will have a custom Vans ‘shop within a shop’ with a design representing the Vans identity using black and white checkerboard light box shoe walls and specially designed freestanding units.

The store opens on May 24 and will stock Vans classic footwear and apparel for men, women and kids.

”I am looking forward to learning how a one brand store works and I hope to be able to learn a lot from the range planning that ties in with the marketing campaigns, “ said Natterjacks director Andy Beagley.

“I truly feel that with the product available across all the lines that Vans has on offer, the store will be a real success”.

The Kingston unit is part of Vans’ continuing expansion of its single brand retail locations throughout Europe which includes shops in Berlin, Amsterdam, Barcelona and London’s Carnaby Street.
