Back in February Westbeach ran their first annual Westbeach Chinese Downhill in Whistler, BC.

The only rules are there are no rules, said Westbeach rider Jon Cartwright, as approximately 40 riders gathered at the top of Million Dollar Ridge, donned Westbeach bandanas and whizzed down the mountain in a hell-bent effort to reach the bottom where a  $500 comedy cheque awaited the first one to reach the bottom.

In the end, it all came down to a beer chugging contest with Shin Campos narrowly beating the legendary Kevin Sansalone and two relatively unknowns for the 4-foot competition cheque.
