Gretchen Bleiler Wins First Snow Angels Invitational
Gretchen Bleiler won first place and $10,000 at the inaugural Cover Girl Snow Angels Invitational at Aspen Snowmass.  The event, hosted by Aspen local Bleiler, invited 15 of the top women's riders to compete for a $20,000 prize pot. In addition to the competition there was a photoshoot in the Snowmass Park on Sunday, spa activities, yoga, environmental workshops and cooking workshops.

Some of the riders in attendence were: Gretchen Bleiler, Hannah Teter, Elena Hight, Manuela Pesko, Kelly Clark,  Tricia Byrnes , Clair Bidez, Soko Yamaoka, Kaitlyn Farrington, Shiho Nakashima, Ellery Hollingsworth, Paulina Ligocka, Lizzy Beerman and Meg Pugh


"This first year has been above and beyond all my hopes and expectations," said Bleiler. "We had amazing weather, a perfect halfpipe, an extremely progressive session in the park and relaxing off-the-hill activities. I couldn’t ask for anything more."

Gretchen Bleiler, Ellery Hollingsworth and Meg Pugh also hosted a Snow Angels Terrain Park Boot Camp for beginner park riders.

2nd – Kelly Clark, Mount Snow, VT – $4,500
3rd – Elena Hight, South Lake Tahoe, CA – $2,000
4th – Hannah Teter, Belmont, VT – $1,000
5th – Manuela Pesko, Lenzerheide, Switzerland – $500
