Rip Curl has launched a mission to build the highest kicker in the world during an un-ridden, freestyle backcountry trip to the Himalayas.
On February 10 2007, four of Rip Curl’s top ski and snowboard team riders will set off on the record breaking mission. Meeting in Kathmandu, the riders will then face the challenge of building and jumping the highest kickers of world (at altitude), along with searching for natural kickers and performing freestyle tricks on their quest to conquer the world’s highest mountains.
Daily updates on the 15-day trip will be available on the Rip Curl website – www.ripcurl.com. There’ll be images, news, videos and details of a dedicated range of clothing including tees and sweaters to support the trip.
