A few weeks to go til the southern hemisphere season kicks off but Australia’s Perisher Blue has released details of a load of cheap deals on offer this season – check em out:

* Ski/snowboard Sunday afternoons for free -  Purchase any 5, 6 or 7-day Mountain Pass or All Standard Lesson Package starting on a Monday and get free mountain access from 1pm on the preceding Sunday. Applicable for adults and children.

* Free night skiing/snowboarding for children aged 14 years and under with a valid Mountain Pass.

* Free First Timer lesson. Purchase a 5 or 6-day First Timer lesson package starting Monday and receive a free lesson on Sunday afternoon at 2pm.

* Free Mountain Passes and Skitube for children aged 5 years and under. ID required.

* Free locker hire (for duration of hire period) with hire from any Perisher Blue outlet up until 27 June or after 8 September 2008.

* Free Skitube between Perisher Blue and Blue Cow with a valid Mountain Pass.

* Free Mountain Host Tours on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays during July, August and September. Meet at the Mid-Station of the Forester Quad Express chair (beneath the Trail Map sign) at 10.30am for a backstage pass to Perisher Blue.
 
* Guided Tours & Tips are an excellent, low-cost way to explore the mountain and gets some handy hints along the way. For just $31 (with a valid Mountain Pass) receive guidance around the resort for approximately 3 hours with a qualified Snowsports School instructor who will reveal his/her favourite spots as well as offer tactical tips along the way. Available on selected Saturdays from 10am.  

* Fuive nights accommodation and 5 days skiing/boarding from only $529 per person. Accommodation is at The Station Resort, Jindabyne. Available all season. Must be pre-booked 6 weeks prior. Call 1300 369 909 to book today.

* Early Bird Season Pass price freeze at 2007 prices. Purchase a 2008 Season Pass before 30 April 2008 and receive a discount of $140 for adults and $77 for children off regular Season Pass prices. * Special 2.5 hour Group Lesson price. Present your valid Mountain Pass (including Season Pass) and receive a discounted 2.5-hour lesson at just $51.

* Spring Super Value Prices. Save up to 30% on 3-day Mountain Passes (from 15 September to season close) and 5-day Mountain Passes (from 8 September to season close). Must be pre-booked by 31 August 2008.
