How was your season? Did you have a good one?
My season was very fun, but due to a few little injuries it was not so productive.

What have you got planned for the next few months? Are you heading back home for some southern hemisphere snow?
The next couple of months I plan to catch up on the school work I did not do in the winter months, get a tan and learn to surf.

How much time do you get to spend in Australia these days?

I spend about 8 months of the year in the US and the rest at home for the winter there.
Do you have to study when you're in the US?
Yes, I do it by correspondence from Australia , but it does not often get in on time. It is very much like home school.

When did you turn pro? How did that happen?
I think sometime last season. it all happened very quickly for me, it is kind of a blur.

What are the best and worst things about being a pro?
I always try to focus on the good things. Really there is not many bad things except the body may not be able to function properly in ten years time!

Is there anywhere in the world you'd like to snowboard that youhaven't been to yet?

It would be really cool to be able to snowboard in Hawaii, then you have got the best of both worlds.

How does your family feel about you being overseas?

My Mum is nervous and does not like it when I do not keep her in loop on what I am doing. But otherwise Mum and Dad have full faith that I will govern myself correctly by what they have both taught me.

Loads of riders we've spoken to this year have singled you out as the most impressive young rider they've seen for a long time - why do you think that is? What do you do that makes you stand out?

Maybe it is my accent???

What's your biggest snowboarding achievement so far?

Second in the Sims world champ big air last year.

Who are your favourite snowboarders?

I admire them all.

Who do you ride with most?
Old Dirty and the Lorifice.

And what's your biggest ambition?

To one day be smart enough to attract a guy that does not chug beers
and smoke pot.

What's the best piece of snowboarding advice you've been given?
Commitment is the key.
