Being Scottish Ruth learnt to snowboard the hard way, up Cairngorm Mountain with zero visibility and face freezing temperatures, but this makes her feel like a pro when she rides in France! She writes bits and bobs for Powderroom.net and a couple of other magazines, often highlighting the environmental issues we should all be a bit more concerned about. She's been riding the same old board for about 8 years though (and it was second hand when she got it) so donations are welcome!
